3-day program · Women's Edition · 12–14 November
At The Unfold Academy, we believe inner work shapes how you show up; in your team, your relationships, your work. The more clearly you see yourself, the more consciously you can act for the people and world around you.
This autumn, we create a women-only space. When we invest in ourselves and learn to lean on each other, we get better at supporting others too. From that place, what we’re here to do becomes clear again and that takes courage.
These three days are a chance to stop, look inward, and bring what you find back into daily life. You probably already sense what needs attention. This program gives you the space to act on it.
Over these three days, you will:

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
Jane Goodall
We step into nature for three days, away from screens, schedules and fixed structures. Back to basics.
You will stay at Landgoed Welna, surrounded by forest and sleep in a tent. The simplicity of the setting supports presence, reflection and reconnection.
The program is guided by Ruby Parengkuan & Barbara Majoewskij.
What you can expect:
These days are not an escape from reality, but a return to what is essential, so that you can act with greater clarity and strength afterwards.
What shifts inside you, shifts around you. We call this regenerative leadership: the understanding that real change, in teams, organisations, families, communities , starts with you. And that you don’t exist in isolation. We work across four tensions that sit at the heart of this:
This program is for women who sense that the next step in their work, their relationships, or simply in how they live, requires something from the inside first.

voices from the trail
We spent two and a half days out in nature with a truly wonderful group of women. Those two and a half days felt like two and a half weeks. Taking real time to focus on myself, and on nature. It’s remarkable how powerful stillness and reflection can feel. The facilitation was excellent, the right questions came at exactly the right moments. I was pushed out of my comfort zone, but always with a clear eye on my limits, without me having to state them myself.

The Moral Courage program at The Unfold Academy was an eye-opener for me. By consciously slowing down and reflecting honestly on my own behavior and thought patterns, I gained much more clarity on where my strength lies and what role I want to play. The program combines personal depth with practical tools, a mix of exercises and reflection that gives you not just insight, but concrete ways to keep questioning the direction you want to take. I’d recommend this trail to anyone curious about themselves and willing to invest in becoming a more conscious, stronger version of who they are.

A truly special place, right in the middle of nature, refreshingly back to basics, and exactly where the essence of it all lies. It’s impressive how quickly Barbara and Ruby can create such an emotionally safe atmosphere. A wonderful group, a lot of vulnerability, and deeply meaningful conversations and reflections. I gained new insights into patterns I get stuck in, and what’s really happening beneath the surface. A varied program, with plenty of room for silence and reflection too. What makes this training so unique is the connection with nature, both the world outside and the one within. I’d genuinely recommend this to anyone.
Kirsten Romme, Program Manager Strategy, Gro-up
It was wonderful to immerse myself in nature for a few days, without the distraction of a phone or a clock, that alone is a gift I’d wish for everyone. But what set this trail apart from other programs for me was the variety of exercises, without it ever feeling like too much. The combination of nature, silence, meaningful conversation, systemic exercises, and a different perspective on nature makes for a powerful whole. Add to that the warm, skilled guidance from Barbara and Ruby, who sense exactly what each person needs, and you have something I highly recommend.

Many women grow up with an implicit message: be strong, be independent, keep going when things get hard. Rest feels like guilt. Vulnerability feels like weakness. Asking for help is the hardest thing of all.
In this autumn edition of, we deliberately create a women-only space. A moment to return to nature and to yourself, as a woman, mother, leader, or entrepreneur.
When we invest in ourselves and learn to lean on each other, we become better at supporting others. From that place, what we are here to do becomes clear again.
And that takes courage
Facilitated by Barbara Majoewskij & Ruby Parengkuan, you’ll discover what it means to choose what is just, even when it feels uncomfortable. When it comes at a cost.
Leadership under pressure is shaped less by intention than by inner state.
Under pressure, the #1 risk factor in leadership is acting on autopilot, losing conscious authorship over one’s choices.
Leaders who develop inner awareness make clearer decisions, navigate complexity with greater integrity and are less driven by fear or external pressure.
